Drum Roll Please!Congratulations to our Wildfire Soup Contest Winners! Here is the placement for the four finalists: Grand Prize Winner: Beci Sutton - Beci's Kansas City Steak Soup 2nd Place: Jeff Nachreiner - Jeff's Fall White Bean and Kale Soup 3rd Place: Karen Christiansen - Karen's Unstuffed Cabbage Soup 4th Place: Lea Gorman - Lea's Black Bean Pumpkin Soup All of the judges concur, they were all delicious and it was hard to narrow it down. Consequently, we have decided to run all of the soups as specials and they will all be named after the Wildfire guest chef who submitted them! Beci's Kansas City Steak Soup will be run in December 2009, and the rest will be run as specials at a future date. This contest was a lot of fun. It was great to see the varieties of soups and to get a chance to hear about some of your favorite things. Watch for future opportunities to be a Wildfire guest chef and create our next special! |
